Has anyone else visited the Gardenview Funeral Chapel for Marquise's viewing or funeral? I was there for the service on May 8th, and the sense of community was incredibly strong. The place was filled with friends, family, and community members who were clearly devastated by the loss of such a young life. It was emotionally overwhelming to witness the love and support for Marquise. The Gardenview staff seemed really supportive, despite the difficult circumstances. I remember a lot of people talking about how Marquise had a bright future ahead of him. I didn’t know him personally, but it’s clear he touched so many lives in Athens. Has anyone heard if there’s been any progress with the investigation? It feels unsettling that there's still so much uncertainty surrounding this tragedy. My thoughts are with his family and friends who are left with so many unanswered questions.
