I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact of surveillance footage in cases like young Jordan Gaynor's. It truly underscores how technology can assist in solving such tragic incidents. When I heard about how the police were able to identify and track one of the suspects from the Get-N-Go shooting through video footage, it reminded me of the importance of every little detail. It’s chilling to think that a brief clip of someone walking down Rosier Road can be the key to bringing someone to justice. My heart goes out to Jordan's family and friends. It must have been incredibly difficult to know that he was just an innocent kid standing with some friends, not realizing how those moments were about to change forever. I hope the investigation continues to unfold successfully so Jordan’s loved ones can find some semblance of peace and justice. How do others feel about the role surveillance footage plays in these investigations? It feels like a double-edged sword sometimes.
