I’ve been following the case closely and can't stop thinking about the impact this must be having on Gerrod’s family and friends. It’s really unsettling how such senseless violence can shatter lives in an instant. I found it touching that so many people attended his service to honor his memory—it's clear he was loved deeply by his community. I hope those who knew him are finding strength together during such a difficult time. The fact that no suspect information has been released yet is quite concerning. I keep wondering if there was any surveillance footage from nearby businesses on Old Dean Forest Road that might offer some clues. It would be so helpful if someone who might have seen something that night comes forward. My thoughts are with everyone grieving his loss.
