Has anyone else been following the Rondarrius Wedges case? I recently learned that Lee Savage III was identified as the suspect several months after the tragic incident. While it’s a relief to hear that there has been significant progress in the case, what really caught my attention is that Savage was already in custody on unrelated charges when they arrested him for this crime. It just makes me wonder about how closely he's been watched by the law all this time and what else he might have been involved in. It's heart-wrenching for Rondarrius’ family to have to go through this entire process, waiting months to hear about any official suspect while grieving their loss. It must offer them some closure, knowing that there's someone being held accountable, but the court proceedings could take a while. My thoughts are with them as they continue to process all of this. Does anyone have more information on how the investigation led to his arrest? The work done by the Cordele PD, Crisp County Sheriff’s Office, and the GBI seems really pivotal here. I just hope this case continues to get the attention it deserves.
