Does anyone else find it chilling how easily Kevin Matchen lied about his alibi? His claim about a "good night" with Alysia, despite all the evidence pointing to the contrary, really shows how manipulative he must have been. I can't even imagine the fear and betrayal Alysia must have felt, knowing that her partner was capable of this level of deceit. The traffic footage and phone data that busted his story wide open were incredible pieces of evidence. Just goes to show how important technology has become in modern investigations. It's a small comfort that justice was served swiftly, but my heart goes out to Alysia's family, especially knowing her grandchild was so close when all of this happened. Such senseless loss is infuriating.
