Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the broader environment around Mom & Pop's Convenience Store where Ricky Bernard Cooper lost his life. It makes me wonder about crime rates in that area and if there have been previous incidents around that part of Broad Street. It's so concerning that something this tragic could happen in a location that so many people probably frequent daily. Has anyone in the community seen any safety improvements or increased police presence since the incident? It would be reassuring to know that steps are being taken to prevent something similar from happening again. My heart goes out to Ricky’s family and especially his young daughter. They deserve justice and a community that feels safe for everyone.
