hey everyone 3 days till 2 years and the case is still ongoing I’m Kayley Dillard one of the passenger that night also Derrick Wilson girlfriend I know everyone is wondering what happened but I can only say so much I’ll put the basic out it all start Wednesday, November 29 2023 it was a good day till that night some things happened we were at mystic store on the east side and something happened between harpe and my boyfriend Derrick then me and Derrick left we also left harpe behind well come

the next Thursday November 20 2023 I’m not gonna say all details but it was around 7:00 pm me, Derrick, and the other passengers we were sent somewhere to get some weed I’m not aware of who tho Derrick never said but ik my man he’d never get weed from someone he didn’t know especially what had happened the previous night so derrick was texting someone he then began to call the person wouldn’t answer the person then texted and stated “we’re in a white Nissan” there are white Nissan everywhere in the area whoever Derrick was texting sated again “we are at the stop sign”

we then circle around multiple time no one to be seen it’s now about 7:10 we going to the stop sign again and Derrick then stated “if no one’s here we’re leaving this don’t feel right” we got to the stop sign no one there we then began to back out as we’re leaving I’m on my phone on TikTok we’re backing out of someone drive way I then see headlights in the corner of eye coming into the intersection and I as I see them I hear gun shoots very loud fast everything went quiet besides the scuffles of us hitting the floorboard and the gunshots and the glass shattering and every impact in the car I was then hit in my right foot in the back, maybe 3 inches away from my Achilles as the gunshots stopped, I began to slowly lift my head out the floorboard noticing there was blood from my head to toe noticing all the blood that was in the car all the glass shattered, and then noticed that my boyfriend gone no movement no breath no nothing lifeless makes it worse. He had no shirt on. I seen everything on him. I began to get out the car. I climbed over my dead boyfriend‘s body, and as I hit the woods and lay flat on my chest, three more gunshots were released.my car was hit 20 times out of a 30 round clip. me and the backseat passenger survived God is good and I will forever. Trust God‘s process, and God‘s timing. And I will say Derrick is not all innocent in the situation, but I just can’t stay everything. trial has yet not to come. Put God first and everything will be fine.

Real sorry you went through all that, and I’m sorry Derrick’s family and everyone who loved him is still stuck. Thank you for sharing all you can.

Maakes sense that you can’t say everything with the case still open. Please don’t feel pressured by anyone online to go beyond what your attorney, a victim advocate, or investigators have told you is safe to share.

For everyone reading, let’s keep this respectful and not turn it into rumors or blame. Please don’t post screenshots, names, or “I heard” stories in the thread, and don’t message or harass anyone connected to the case. If you truly have information, send it directly to GBI or Tifton PD instead of putting it here.

Kayley, I’m glad you and the other passenger survived. What you described is traumatic, and it’s normal if you’re still dealing with fear, anger, or flashbacks. I’m hoping you have support around you, and I’m hoping the court process moves forward soon so the truth can come out the right way.

Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Derrick D. Wilson, and my thoughts are with his family and friends during this really difficult time. It’s just so sad to see a young life cut short like this.
I wanted to share a thought about the current developments in the investigation. It’s really concerning to think about the involvement of someone as young as 16 in such a serious crime. I wonder what led to this point, and it raises so many questions about what we can do as a community to prevent this kind of thing from happening again.
Also thinking about the two other victims who are recovering and hoping they pull through. I can't imagine the trauma they're going through. It’s crucial we support their recovery and provide any information we might have to help the investigation.
Let’s keep talking and sharing any ideas or information. Every bit helps and could prevent another family from experiencing this pain in the future.
Stay safe, everyone.
Has anyone else been following the recent developments in the Derrick D. Wilson case? I'm just so stunned that someone as young as Izaya Harpe, only 16, is now charged with such a serious crime. It's hard to even begin to think about what his family and Derrick's loved ones must be going through. This kind of violence involving kids is just so disturbing. I can't help but wonder what led up to that tragic night at the intersection of Clay Drive and Ferry Lakes Road.
I've seen a lot of debate online about whether community resources or better conflict resolution programs could have made a difference in preventing this. Does anyone have insights into what is available in Tifton for young people who might be struggling? I'm hoping something can be learned from this so that we can hopefully prevent another tragedy. It's just so important to address these issues before they escalate to this point. Thoughts?
I just came across the tragic news about Derrick D. Wilson and it really hits home. It's so unsettling to think about how someone so young could have their life cut short like this. I read that the shooter, Izaya Harpe, is only 16. It's alarming to see someone that young already facing such severe charges. I can't help but think about both families involved and the pain they're experiencing right now. Growing up in a community that's marred by violence must be incredibly tough for everyone involved.
It's commendable that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Tifton Police are working diligently to piece everything together. I really hope anyone with information comes forward to help pave the way for justice. This is a critical time for healing, and both justice and community support are essential. While it's crucial to hold those responsible accountable, I truly wish for a future where tragedies like this become rare. It just feels like such a heavy loss for the whole community.
