I’ve been reading through the details of Jeremiah Watkins’ case, and I find myself thinking about his young son, Ja'Khyri. It’s just such a devastating situation for a child to have to grow up without their father because of such senseless violence. I can't even begin to imagine what the family is going through right now, especially knowing they have to be strong for the little one. Does anyone know if there’s a community support system or fund in place to help the Watkins family? Sometimes communities set these up to help with anything financial and to provide emotional support. If not, maybe it’s something we can discuss setting up? This kind of loss shouldn't be faced alone. Keeping Jeremiah’s family in my thoughts and hoping for justice and peace for them soon.
