Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Rashad Walker, and something has been weighing on my mind. The fact that the shooting happened so close to a daycare really struck me. It’s terrifying to think that such a violent act took place in an area where children play and learn. I can’t even begin to imagine how those families in the community are feeling, let alone Rashad’s own family. If the person seen in the white t-shirt fleeing the scene is involved, it breaks my heart that they would do this in such a public place without thinking about the impact on so many lives, including little kids who could have been caught up in this. It’s just so senseless and scary. Sending strength and love to Rashad’s family as they navigate this nightmare and hope that justice is soon served for them all.
