I'm really hoping the DeKalb County Police are making progress on Amere McGahey's case. It's been a bit since the incident, and I haven't seen any updates on potential suspects or leads. I can't even imagine the pain his family is going through right now. It's so puzzling to me that no one has been brought in yet—surely someone knows something. I keep thinking about the bullet holes in the window of that apartment unit. Were they targeted or just caught in the chaos? If anyone was in the area that night or knows anything at all, please come forward. Even the smallest detail could be huge. It's stories like Amere's that make these forums so important—we need to keep talking about this until there's some justice for him and his loved ones.
