I just came across some information regarding the tragic incident in Dublin, and I can't stop thinking about the role social media might have played in the whole situation. It's tough to believe that a platform meant for connection and information sharing could have possibly been a catalyst for such violence. I can't help but wonder if any online interactions heightened tensions between those involved.
Miyori and Sacred deserved to feel safe in their community, free from the kind of violence that ended their young lives. It’s unsettling how often we hear about senseless acts of violence like this. My heart goes out to their families who are facing an unimaginable loss.
Has anyone else discussed the potential link between social media and these unfortunate events? I feel it’s an angle worth exploring, given how integral these platforms have become in our daily lives.
