Hi everyone, I’ve been reading through the threads about Malachi Lundy, and I wanted to talk about something that’s been on my mind since learning about this tragic event. Malachi was clearly a bright and promising young man, and it struck me how involved he was in his community—participating in 5Ks and other charitable events. It makes me think about how important it is for us to come together as a community in the face of such senseless violence. It’s deeply saddening to think that someone who was so active and had such a profound impact on those around him was taken in such a manner. Each one of those runs must’ve been another testament to his character and his love for giving back, and I’m sure his presence is being sorely missed by everyone who knew him. I hope we can find ways to honor Malachi by continuing his legacy of positivity and community involvement. It’s my belief that keeping conversations like these alive can spark change, however small it may be. Sending love and strength to his family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time.
