I’ve been thinking a lot about the community response to Lamon and Ja'Kody's tragic deaths. It’s uplifting to see how the neighborhood has come together—whether it's through setting up memorials or attending the vigils. The solidarity shown by our community speaks volumes about our collective desire to put an end to senseless violence. It’s also inspiring to see faith leaders and local organizations actively calling for actionable change. These are critical conversations that need to happen, but they must be followed by real action. I truly hope the increased reward and ongoing investigative efforts yield results soon. It's hard to imagine the pain their families are experiencing, and they deserve some measure of peace and justice. If anybody hears anything or knows someone who might have seen something, please reach out to authorities. Every detail, no matter how small it might seem, could be crucial in solving this case. Let’s keep the momentum from these vigils going and continue striving for a safer environment for our children. We owe it to Lamon, Ja'Kody, and every young soul in our community.
