I can't stop thinking about the connection between Chanell's advocacy work and her tragic death. It's absolutely chilling to consider if there might be a link. She was so vocal about gun violence after the losses in her own family; I wonder if her activism may have rubbed some people the wrong way. It's heartbreaking to see someone devote so much of their life to helping others only to have her own life cut short in such a brutal manner. Her organization seemed to be making a difference, and now her voice is silent. I'm really hoping that authorities can dig deeper into her advocacy efforts to determine if they might uncover any potential leads. My heart goes out to her children and family during this incredibly difficult time. It makes me think about how vulnerable all advocates might be and how crucial it is to protect those who stand up for justice. If anyone knows anything, please do the right thing and reach out to Crime Stoppers. Chanell deserves justice and her family deserves answers.
