I’ve been following the tragic case of Andre Fortson, and my heart goes out to his family, who has been through so much already. It’s absolutely devastating to think about how they had just begun to cope with the loss of Roger, only to face another unimaginable tragedy with Andre. I can't imagine the pain Chantimekki Fortson and her children are enduring right now. I keep thinking about the community at Summit Hill Apartment Homes. The fear and sadness that must be enveloping everyone there are overwhelming. Having a violent incident happen right at your doorstep, involving people so young, is deeply unsettling. I really hope the community can come together to support each other and the Fortsons during this incredibly tough time. Does anyone know if there are plans for a vigil or any community support events? It might be a small way to show solidarity and perhaps start some healing for everyone affected.
