I’ve been thinking a lot about the role Tristan's selfless act played on that tragic night. It’s both inspiring and heart-wrenching to consider how he put someone else's safety before his own. As a Marine veteran, it doesn’t surprise me that he rushed to help without a second thought. I can’t imagine what his friend feels knowing he gave his life to protect her. Acts of heroism like this really reveal one's character and I think it's important we keep talking about who Tristan was as a person beyond this tragedy. For those who knew him, I hope remembering his bravery brings some comfort during this difficult time. Sending strength to his family and all who were touched by his courage.

I've been following the tragic case of Tristan Manigault closely and can't stop thinking about those crucial moments that led up to the shooting. I've seen discussions about the lack of security measures at the bar, but I haven't noticed much conversation about the role of the bystanders that night. It's so unsettling to think that despite being in a public space, help didn't come sooner or effectively enough to prevent this tragedy. Tristan's bravery and selflessness are undeniable. He put himself in danger to protect someone else, which speaks volumes about his character. But it makes me wonder about the other patrons there—were they too in shock or fear-stricken to act? In situations like this, how can bystanders be better prepared to assist or, at the very least, get help more quickly? I genuinely hope the investigation sheds some light on this aspect, along with the security concerns. It's vital for Tristan's family and friends to get answers, and for future measures to prevent others from facing such a terrible event. My thoughts are with them during this incredibly painful time.
