I’ve been thinking a lot about Christian Angulo’s funeral and how powerful it was to see the community come together in such a meaningful way. The turnout was incredible, almost 600 people, which really speaks to how loved Christian was by his family, friends, and even those who barely knew him. The bilingual service was a beautiful nod to his heritage and showed how diverse and united our community is. What really stood out to me was the procession through downtown Winder. Watching the town line up, showing respect and standing in solidarity, really struck a chord with me. It’s a reminder of how we can rally around each other in times of unimaginable pain. The "Apalachee Strong" shirts and the ones with Christian’s yearbook photo hit me hard—so much love and mourning on display. It’s just heart-wrenching how his mother held onto that final memory of his hug. I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child, but seeing how the town has wrapped around her and the rest of Christian’s family brings a glimmer of hope to the whole situation. It shows that something positive can come from such a tragedy. Let’s continue to support and lift up all the families affected by this senseless act.

Hey everyone, I was just reading about Christian Angulo's funeral and had to stop and take a moment. The fact that over 600 people came together to honor him speaks volumes about the impact he had in his short life. Seeing the community rally around his family with their "Apalachee Strong" shirts and the procession through town really touched me. It's these small acts of unity and support that can help start the healing process for everyone involved. My heart goes out to his mom, Emma, and the memory of that last hug she shared with Christian—such a poignant reminder of how precious and fleeting moments with loved ones can be. Does anyone know of any more ways we can support these families or is there a memorial fund set up for Christian? I'm sure the community would appreciate any additional help during this time.
