Has anyone else been digging into Roy Frank Laney's case? I stumbled upon some old newspaper clippings from 1980 while doing research, and there's a detail that keeps bugging me. Neighbors mentioned seeing a blue sedan parked near Laney's residence several times around the time he disappeared. They didn't recognize it as belonging to him or any of the usual visitors. It seems a bit odd that no one looked further into who owned that car or why it was there. I mean, especially given the circumstances of his disappearance and the people he was apparently afraid of. Has anyone come across any info about this vehicle or any mentions of it in reports? Could just be nothing, but with cold cases like this, every detail might count.
