Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about the impact this tragedy must be having on the community, especially the family of Benjie Byers and the families of the other victims. It’s hard to imagine the pain they’re going through right now. I read that an 8-year-old child was also hurt, likely by a stray bullet, which makes this situation even more troubling. As a parent, it’s terrifying to think how close this child came to a worse fate. It's concerning how often kids are getting caught in these violent incidents lately. It’s just not right that any parent should have to worry about their child being in danger just walking around their neighborhood. I really hope more people come forward with information about the SUV involved. The more eyes and ears we have out there, the quicker this can be resolved. We need to support the families affected and work on proactive solutions to curb this trend of violence. Let’s all do what we can to ensure justice for Benjie and the safety of our community. If anyone hears or sees anything, please reach out to the authorities. Stay safe, everyone.
