It's always so tragic when violence tears apart a community. My heart goes out to the family and friends of Allen Hill Jr. during this incredibly difficult time. I can't imagine the pain they're going through with such a senseless loss. I'm curious if anyone heard anything about the area around Xenia Street, SE that night. It seems like maybe someone in the community might have seen or heard something unusual. Also, it's alarming that the suspect fled toward Oxon Park. Does anyone familiar with the area know if there are cameras or increased police patrols in the park at night? It’s scary to think that this person is still at large, but maybe more awareness can help jog someone's memory. Let’s hope justice is served for Allen and his family.
