I can't stop thinking about how senseless this whole situation is. A young life cut short over what? It's truly difficult to grasp why some people resort to such extreme violence. Antonio seemed like such a bright and hard-working young man, just trying to make his way to work like any other day. My heart really goes out to his family and friends who have to live with this unimaginable loss. It's stomach-churning to think about how close he was to at least having someone try to help him, and then both end up victims. If anyone here knows of ways we can support the community, please share. This must have left a massive void at Dunbar High, as well as at Jersey Mike's, where he worked. Let’s keep Antonio's family in our thoughts and try to advocate for a safer place for our kids to grow up, free from fear of violence.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Antonio Cunningham’s case closely, and something that keeps coming up in my mind is about the bravery of the man who tried to help Antonio. It takes incredible courage to step into such a dangerous situation, especially when it's happening so suddenly and unexpectedly. I just can’t stop thinking about how selfless you have to be to put your life on the line for someone else.
The thought of him being in critical condition is just really affecting me. I hope he knows just how much his actions meant, not just to Antonio’s family, but to all of us who wish we could do more in moments like these. It's a terrible thing that happened, but his bravery deserves recognition.
My heart is with Antonio’s family as well as the good Samaritan and his loved ones during this unbelievably difficult time. If anyone in the community hears anything that might help the investigation, please remember there’s a significant reward being offered. Let’s keep them in our thoughts and hope for justice.
Stay safe, everyone.

I can't imagine how terrifying that must have been for everyone involved. My heart goes out to Antonio’s family and friends, and I truly hope the man who tried to help recovers fully.
