Hey everyone, I came across the case of Howell, who tragically fell off a sailboat at the south end of Seneca Lake. One thing that really stuck out to me is that Howell didn’t know how to swim. I can't stop thinking about how often people underestimate the importance of knowing how to swim, especially when they’re around large bodies of water. Does anyone know if there were any efforts to improve water safety in that area after this incident? It just feels like such a preventable situation, and it's frustrating to hear about these things happening over and over again.
