I can't stop thinking about the community impact this senseless tragedy has had. Octavio and Osmine Quintano were fixtures in their neighborhood and beloved by those who frequented The Pollo Company. It wasn’t just that they were known for their work there, but they had become part of the fabric of that local community. Imagine going to pick up your favorite meal and being greeted by their friendly faces—it's hard to grasp that’s no longer an option. The brothers were just hanging out, winding down after a day of work when this horrible act occurred. The thought that their lives ended in such fear and chaos is unbearable. As we try to piece together what happened, my heart goes out to their family and friends who now have to pick up the shattered pieces. Why do such promising, vibrant lives get cut short like this? I’m hopeful that bringing Ronzoni Jackson Jr. to justice will provide some closure, but I know it won't fill the void left behind in the lives of those who knew and loved Octavio and Osmine. We're all struggling to make sense of the senseless as we await justice on the January hearing date.
