Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic death of Ashlei Hinds at that New Year's Eve party, and while it's already so devastating, something that's really stuck with me is Ashlei's incredible achievements. I read about how she was a freshman at LSU with big dreams in Sports Administration. Being a former honors student and a Student Government Association president is no small feat. It's clear Ashlei was destined for greatness.
For someone so young to be taken away under such circumstances is just unfathomable. Her story really hit home for me, especially knowing she worked so hard and had such a bright future ahead. It's a somber reminder of how fleeting life can be and how important it is to cherish our loved ones.
My heart goes out to her family and friends. I hope they find some peace and the justice they deserve. And might I say, the idea of starting a foundation in her memory is a beautiful way to honor Ashlei's legacy. Let's keep her family in our thoughts and lift each other up as we grapple with this senseless loss.
Stay safe out there, everyone. ❤️
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Ashlei Hinds' case, and there's an aspect that's been really weighing on my mind. Imagine you're Tiffany Falden, celebrating New Year's Eve with loved ones, anticipating another year of watching your amazing daughter flourish. She was on such an incredible path already, balancing her studies and maintaining her connections back home. That phone call between them before midnight—it was likely filled with laughter and plans for the future. It breaks my heart to think that a moment meant for joy turned into the last interaction she'd have with Ashlei.
I think it can’t be overstated how much Ashlei already achieved and how many lives she touched in just 18 years. Her involvement with school leadership, her stellar academic record, and the ambitions she carried to make her mark in sports administration are just so inspiring for someone so young. And now, as her family speaks out about their loss, establishing a foundation in her name, it makes me reflect on the positive impact she still makes despite such tragic circumstances.
Has anyone else been thinking about how tragedies like these affect the families left behind? They have a long road ahead, and they'll need a lot of community support. Let's keep remembering Ashlei for the vibrant and driven young woman she was and continue to share her story.
Thoughts and prayers with the Hinds family. ?
