I’m sure many of you who have been following this case are relieved about the recent arrest, but I'm curious about how the suspect, Tariq White, managed to fly under the radar for so long. Being from Raleigh and caught in Virginia, it makes me wonder if there was any connection Devon had out of state or if Tariq had a broader network beyond D.C. It seems like a lot of effort for someone to evade capture, and I’m hoping this arrest will start providing answers. My thoughts are with Devon’s family; this arrest might be a step towards justice, but I can’t imagine the pain they’ve been enduring all this time. Anyone else have thoughts on how the authorities managed to pinpoint Tariq months later?
