Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact Doug Davidson had on the kids he coached at PARA. From what I’ve heard and read, it seems like he was a truly inspiring figure who really cared about the kids and put his heart into making sports a positive experience for them. It’s so tragic that the community has lost such a dedicated mentor. For those local to Pace, FL, were any of you or your kids directly involved with PARA while Doug was there? I’d love to hear more personal stories about the influence he had, particularly any moments that show the kind of person he was outside of this heartbreaking incident. I can’t imagine what his family and especially his sons are going through right now, and I think sharing positive memories could honor his legacy and potentially bring some solace. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and everyone who knew him.
