It's terrifying how life can change in an instant, especially in such a peaceful moment at one's own home.
Also, it makes me think about the impact on his family, particularly his wife and stepson. Hearing those gunshots and stumbling upon a loved one in such a state is beyond traumatic. The fact that the suspect, John Vitta, came from a seemingly normal situation—working with Ferrer and knowing about his plans—baffles me even more.
