It’s so disturbing to think about Sierra’s final moments. The fact that her mother was the one who discovered her and had to endure the trauma of that night firsthand is just unimaginable. Losing a child is something no parent should ever have to experience, especially under such violent circumstances. It's a testament to a mother's strength that she managed to confront Daley and yet heartbreaking that she couldn't protect Sierra from harm. I hope she has a solid support network around her during this impossibly difficult time. My thoughts and condolences go out to Sierra’s family and friends. I also hope that others who might find themselves in similar situations are able to find and access the resources they need, like those offered by the Harbor House of Central Florida. Stay safe, everyone.
