Does anyone else find it odd how the trail goes completely cold on Danny Bennett's whereabouts after October 20, 1986? I’ve done some digging and found that the case files show very little about his movements that day. It’s like he just vanished into thin air. Sure, it’s not uncommon for records from the 80s to be scarce, but in his case, it seems more than a little suspicious. I can't help thinking there might have been crucial details overlooked back then. How thorough was the initial investigation by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office? Were enough resources dedicated to tracking his last known activities? I’ve read that missing person procedures back then weren't as rigorous as they are now. It's been over 30 years, and I keep wondering if there were any witnesses who were overlooked or evidence that might have been missed simply because technology wasn't on par with today’s standards. Would love to hear from anyone who knows more about law enforcement practices from that time or has theories on where things might have stalled in Danny’s case.
