I've been following the tragic incident at the JTB Apartments, and something that stands out to me is how this could have been prevented with better security. It's deeply unsettling to think that a lack of basic safety measures might have led to the loss of three innocent lives, including little Kae’Lynn Matthews. I can't even begin to imagine the heartache and frustration the families must be going through right now. Seeing the families file wrongful death lawsuits against the apartment complex really highlights the importance of holding property owners accountable. Broken gates and no security guards? That's unacceptable, especially to anyone living there who expects a safe environment. I really hope the ongoing legal action brings some sense of justice and prevents similar tragedies from happening in the future. Fingers crossed for some answers soon, hopefully leading to arrests, and most importantly, closure for those who have lost loved ones.
