It’s really disturbing to hear about yet another act of violence in Lauderhill with Selwyn White Jr. losing his life so tragically. I know we’re all trying to make sense of these heart-wrenching events. I can't help but wonder how these violent acts affect the community, especially knowing that Selwyn's family and friends are going through such a difficult time. From what I've read, authorities are still piecing together evidence, and the surveillance footage might bring us closer to answers. Being such a close-knit community, it’s unsettling to think that someone among us could be behind this. It's also concerning to see those bullet holes in windows around the plaza, reminding us how close-by and real the danger was for anyone there that night. I'm hopeful that the reward might encourage someone to come forward with information. Having a suspect identified could bring some ease to the family, even though nothing can truly fill the void left by such a senseless act. In the meantime, let's keep discussing and supporting each other as a community to ensure these incidents don't go unnoticed or unresolved. If anyone else has more to share, it might help us all understand and support each other better through this.
