Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Smyley Fontaine Charles and Shameka Filidor, and I can't stop thinking about Smyley's journey from Haiti to the U.S. It's so inspiring yet devastating to know that someone who worked so hard to achieve his dreams was taken in such a tragic way. Imagine coming to a new country at a young age, adapting, and excelling academically—that's not an easy feat. It sounds like he was the kind of person who brought joy to everyone around him. It’s just so sad that he won’t be able to continue making a difference in the lives of his loved ones. I hope anyone with information comes forward soon. There’s no closure for the family till justice is served. It's a strong reminder to cherish the moments we have with our own friends and family. Let's keep them all in our thoughts. Stay safe, everyone.
