Hi everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Mateo Delgado's murder, and as someone who lives not too far from Tamarac, I feel deeply for his family and the entire community. It's genuinely unnerving to think that such an act could take place in a neighborhood that's known for its safety and calm atmosphere.
One thing that's been sticking out to me is how these young lives got tangled in such a serious crime. Four teenagers involved—it's just mind-boggling. What could possibly lead to such a drastic turn of events? It makes me wonder about their backgrounds—were there warning signs, or did influences from outside the community play a part?
It's difficult to fathom what Mateo's family must be going through, especially with the investigation still piecing together the motive. My heart truly goes out to them. I hope anyone with information steps forward soon, so they can find some level of closure.
Did anyone else notice anything odd about the area that night, or have any thoughts on how something like this could've been avoided?

Has anyone else been following the twists and turns in the Mateo Delgado case? I just can’t wrap my head around how young all the suspects are. It’s shocking and just plain sad. I read that Oren Jackson is currently being charged as a juvenile, but the state wants to change that to adult charges. I can’t even imagine what that process must be like for his family and for Mateo’s family too. These are such young lives caught up in something so serious, and it’s just devastating for all the people affected.
It’s tough to see how this shooting tore through the sense of safety in a quiet neighborhood like Tamarac. Does anyone have more info on what the community is doing to heal or any gatherings they might be having? It must be an incredibly tense time for the residents. Also, I wonder if authorities are any closer to finding a motive. The unknowns must weigh heavily on Mateo's loved ones.
