I’ve been following the tragic case of Micah Z. Thomas and something that really stands out to me is the role of the neighbors. It seems like they stepped up right away, hearing gunfire and attempting to help Micah before calling the police. It must have been extremely traumatic for them to witness such a horrific event, but their swift actions likely brought some comfort to Micah in his final moments. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for them to return to a sense of normalcy after experiencing this. My heart goes out to everyone in that neighborhood who's dealing with the aftermath of this heartbreak. ? Has anyone heard if there are any plans for a community gathering or vigil to support Micah’s family and each other?
