Juan De Anda's case has always intrigued me, especially the detail about him leaving his passport behind. For someone who traveled between Mexico and the U.S. frequently, that's really odd, right? It makes me wonder if he had another plan in mind that didn’t involve crossing the border as he usually did. Maybe he was meeting someone locally or had intentions of settling something in Albuquerque? It seems like a risky move, knowing he might need to travel quickly. Also, considering there's still no substantial leads after all these years, could it be possible that someone close to him knows more but hasn’t spoken up for some reason? Or maybe someone in one of the places he frequently visited could have vital information they don’t realize is important. The fact he has such identifiable scars might help jog someone’s memory. I hope his family gets some answers soon.
