Reading about what unfolded in Kendale Lakes leaves a heavy feeling that I can’t shake off. It’s truly unimaginable what Joanna Cruz must have gone through when she discovered the scene. I can’t even begin to fathom the kind of emotional impact this will have on her long-term. Being asked to simply deliver food and then walking into such devastation is something nobody should ever have to endure.
Considering that Kerstyn Stahre and Jesus Regueira Jr. were perceived by some as a married couple shows a depth of relationship that leaves even more questions about what was happening behind closed doors. It just seems like things were not as they appeared. Jesus Jr.’s emotional state, combined with the care needed for his ailing parents, must have created a pressure that he tragically could not handle. It makes you wonder about the signs that were missed and the mental anguish he might have been suffering silently.
