Just read about the tragedy in Little Havana, and my heart really goes out to the Matute family. Something that’s sticking with me is the community’s response. A neighbor mentioned how everyone heard the screams and rushed out, but I wonder how many people were really aware of what was going on behind closed doors before this happened. It's unsettling to think about what was missed. The fact that the neighborhood came together after the incident to support his family speaks volumes about the power of community, but it makes me think—how can we get more involved before such disasters strike? Maybe there’s more we can do to protect those who might be silently suffering. Please, if anyone has thoughts or resources, share them here. We need to keep looking out for one another, especially when things just don’t feel right.

I can't stop thinking about the bravery and love Luciano Matute showed in those final moments. It must be unbelievably difficult for his family to process all of this, especially considering the suspect was someone they knew and trusted. It’s so disheartening to realize the horror within their own family dynamic, with Rosales' appalling actions prior to the murder. I just hope that Matute's granddaughter and the whole family can find some peace and healing after such a traumatic experience. The courage he displayed is inspiring, and I hope the community continues to rally around them during this painful time. Anyone have thoughts on how family support networks can help in such situations?
