I just can't wrap my head around what the witnesses must have experienced that morning. To everyone at the Meadows shopping plaza during the tragic events at the drive-thru ATM—thank you for your quick thinking in alerting the Miami-Dade Police sergeant. It must have been incredibly traumatic to witness such a thing, and my heart truly goes out to each of you. It's comforting in a way to know that so many good Samaritans were present, and even more to see the quick response from law enforcement. That sergeant’s presence and immediate action certainly helped prevent even more chaos. I'm hopeful that authorities can piece together what exactly led to this senseless act. This tragedy underscores the need for our community to be vigilant and supportive of one another—especially with recent events showing an alarming trend of violence. We all must continue to push for change and demand those responsible are held accountable while working towards preventing these happenings in the future. Sending all my thoughts and strength to the families affected, to Odalys Bancroft and little Theodore. May more acts of kindness come from this nightmare. ?
