Did anyone else catch the recent discussion about the roads and infrastructure around Jacksonville in the '90s? I was thinking about Johanna Lamoyne Simms’ case and how the area might have impacted her disappearance. I grew up nearby, and I can vividly remember how some parts were less developed back then, with lots of dense woods and quiet areas away from the main town. I’m wondering if those environments could have played a role in why there’s been so little trace of her. In those days, it seemed pretty easy for people or cars to go unnoticed once they got off the main roads. Not saying it's connected, but the landscape back then could've really affected search efforts or witnesses coming forward. Anyone else have thoughts or memories of Jacksonville during that era? Sometimes I think figuring out the context might help put some pieces together.
