I've been following Tyler's case since I first heard about it, and I just can't shake how senseless and cruel it is. Imagine living through a traumatic event like being shot and paralyzed, only to then rebuild your life with so much grit and positivity, just to have it ripped away again in such a violent manner. It’s devastating not only for Tyler but for his family who had already seen him struggle and overcome so much. I can’t help but think about his friends who were riding with him that day. I hope they’re getting the support they need to process this loss. And I earnestly hope someone out there has the courage to come forward with information. It's been so long, and his family deserves some semblance of peace. Always sending strength to those who knew and loved him.
I’ve been following Tyler’s case for a while, and something that always tugs at my heart is how resilient he was. The fact that he bounced back after being paralyzed on one side from a gunshot in 2012 is incredible. It shows so much strength and determination to not let that previous trauma define him. He goes on to find work in construction—despite all odds. It's especially tragic that someone with such a fighting spirit faced violence again in 2016. ? I just hope that this aspect of his life doesn’t get overshadowed as people discuss his case. He deserves justice, yes, but he also deserves to be remembered for pushing through his hardships and inspiring others, not just as another statistic of gun violence. Anyone with thoughts on this?
