Hey everyone, I was digging into Diane Alexia Young's case recently and something's been on my mind. Has anyone ever looked into the security or traffic camera footage from the days surrounding her disappearance? I know it's a long shot given the 90s technology, but maybe someone out there has info on archived tapes or knows if this angle was fully explored. It's just that with her car found near the Golden Gate Bridge, it seems like someone or something might have seen which direction she went or if she was with someone else. If there are any locals or experts here who could shed light on how robust the surveillance was back then, or if anything unusual turned up in the footage, that would be awesome. Just hoping to piece together anything that might lead to a breakthrough.
Has anyone looked into possible sightings of Diane in nearby areas after her car was abandoned? I know it's been years since she disappeared, but sometimes people think they've spotted missing persons long after they go missing and don’t realize it. It's possible someone might have seen her hitchhiking or walking near the bridge and just hasn't connected the dots. I hope someone out there who was in the Bay Area around that time can dig into their memory and provide any tidbit of information. Every little clue could help crack this case that has been cold for way too long.
Has anyone else looked into the possibility that Diane might have had a connection to someone else who disappeared from the Golden Gate Bridge area? I came across this theory while reading about other unsolved cases in San Francisco during the '90s. It's eerie how several people vanished under similar circumstances around that time, with their vehicles found abandoned nearby. It makes me wonder if there was some kind of pattern or link that investigators might have missed—or if it's just a strange coincidence. I know it sometimes helps to consider cases in clusters rather than isolation. Just curious if anyone has dug into this angle or found any interesting parallels. Thoughts?
