I'm really shaken up by the tragedy involving Tay Tay Scott. As a parent, it’s unimaginable to fathom the pain his family is going through right now. What deeply unsettles me is the prevalence of these shootings and how innocent lives are caught up in this senseless violence. I read that his family and the community had a vigil to remember little Tay Tay, and I can’t help but admire their courage and unity amid such pain. I just hope that more people will come forward with any shred of information that can help pinpoint what exactly led to this nightmare. It’s imperative we support endeavors to make our neighborhoods safer for everyone, especially our kids who deserve to play without fear. Anyone else here closely following the push for community reforms or has ideas on effective measures to address this cycle of violence?
