Hey everyone, I’ve been following the discussion about Jose Angel-Morales, and my thoughts really go out to his family and friends. I can't stop thinking about the community aspect of this - from what I've read, Jose had such strong ties to Hartford. It’s so upsetting to see someone like him, who was clearly loved by many, become a victim of this ongoing issue with gun violence in the area. I’ve seen some local initiatives trying to address gun violence, but it's clear there's so much more work to be done. It just makes me wonder what role community bonds play in combating this violence. How can we strengthen these connections to bring about change? It seems like we all need to step up together to make areas like Hartford safer for everyone. Would love to hear your thoughts or any local efforts anyone’s aware of that are making a difference.
