Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the social media aspect of Jennifer Goodwin White’s case, especially that weird Facebook profile from 2011. It’s really unsettling to imagine what Sonja Williams and others went through believing they might have been reconnecting with Jennifer. I can’t help but wonder, what drives someone to create a false identity like that? Was it simply grief, or could it have been a twisted attempt to reignite interest in her case? Whatever the reason, it must have been so confusing and painful for her loved ones. For them to hold onto hope, only to face disappointment again, must have been incredibly difficult. If anyone has more insight into how the authorities handle such incidents involving social media or similar, I’d be really interested to know. Stay safe and hug your loved ones tight!
