Hey everyone, I've been digging into the case of Norman Richard Welsh, the gentleman who went missing from the North Bay Psychiatric Hospital back in '76. One thing that's really struck me is his medical condition. I've read that Norman suffered from epilepsy and didn’t have his medication with him when he disappeared. As we know, epilepsy can be incredibly dangerous if not managed properly. Without his meds, I'm worried his condition could have played a major role in whatever happened after he vanished into the woods. Does anyone here have personal or second-hand experience with epilepsy, especially in the context of going off medication suddenly? Could this have led to him becoming disoriented or injured? It just seems like such a crucial detail that might give us some insight into his state of mind or physical state after he went missing. Any thoughts or similar case studies that might shed some light would be much appreciated. It's such a cold case, but revisiting details like these could help. Thanks!
