I’ve been thinking a lot about Omar Shawn Thompson’s case lately, and it's just so difficult to make sense of such a senseless act. From what I’ve read, he was found in his car, in a parking lot on Smith Drive, which just makes me wonder about the circumstances leading up to it. Was he meeting someone there, or was it just a random spot where this terrible event unfolded? Omar was only 31, with so much more life left to live. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain his family and friends are going through right now. It’s just infuriating how gun violence continues to shatter lives. If anyone has more insights or thoughts, especially regarding the police investigation's progress, please share. Let’s keep Omar and his loved ones in our thoughts, and hope they find the justice they certainly deserve.
