It's so upsetting that another family is devastated by this senseless act of violence. I was reading about Jose Jesus Cortez, and it struck me how quickly life can just change. Did anyone else attend the vigil they held? From the bits I saw online, it seemed like there was a strong sense of community. People really came together to honor his memory and support each other. Times like these, showing up for one another makes such a difference. Hartford is a tough place sometimes, but it's clear that folks there care deeply for one another. It's maddening that there are still no suspects or arrests. Hoping the investigation makes progress soon. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
