Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Francine Diana Thomas case and noticed something intriguing. While most missing persons cases eventually generate a fair amount of media coverage or public engagement, Francine's seems to be lacking both. Could this be due to the remoteness of Shamattawa and the limited access to media at that time? It's possible the geographic isolation played a significant role in keeping this case out of the public eye.
Additionally, the early '90s weren't exactly the digital age, so news might not have traveled as far or fast as it would today. Has anyone found any local newspapers or archives from that period which might contain more detailed reports? We might be overlooking smaller, print sources that could shed light on what happened back then. Would love to hear if anyone has looked into this or has any leads about expanding our search beyond digital footprints.
