I’ve been following Fred Takerer’s case for a while now, and something that puzzles me is the timing of that last sighting on February 20, 2003. It was mid-winter, and I can’t help but wonder about the weather conditions at that time. Was it snowing heavily in Seeley’s Bay around then? It seems odd for someone with mobility issues to venture out in harsh conditions unless absolutely necessary. Did anyone in the community notice anything unusual in the days leading up to or just after his disappearance? Sometimes details that seem insignificant at first can end up being crucial. I’m really hoping that even after all these years, someone might recall a small detail that could provide a clue.
