I was just reading through the details of David Stevens' case, and something that caught my eye was the absence of any mention of wildlife encounters. Northern Ontario is teeming with various animals, including bears and wolves. With David canoeing alone through such remote terrain, I wonder if there's a chance that a wildlife encounter might have played a role in his disappearance. Of course, it's pure speculation, especially considering no signs were found of him or his canoe. Still, it's hard not to think about the added dangers the wilderness poses, apart from nature itself. Has anyone else considered this aspect, or am I reaching here?
